O hotel foi o principal e maior centro político de Rio Pardo, o centro da história do município. Seu prefeito era 8️⃣ Vicente Torres. Este nome foi oficializado na Lei Estadual nº 2729, de 20/06/1960. Segundo o prefeito, Vicente Torres era "um homem mais 8️⃣ respeitável do que o prefeito". O prédio tem dois andares (com quatro mil e seis mil metros quadrados, projetado por Oscar 8️⃣ Niemeyer). |
