Most fans would agree the sequel surpasses the first film, but there are a few aspects that the first film does better. Sonic The Hedgehog received great praise and was incredibly successful. Its sequel, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, was even more beloved by Sonic fans. Improving on the original in (mostly) every conceivable way and giving us a more genuine video game adaptation, Sonic 2 is a helluva lot of fun. With temple runs, puzzles, giant Robotnik monsters, this genuinely feels like a Sonic the Hedgehog movie. There's even G.U.N., yeah, G.U.N., that's a weird deep cut. |
